Modular = Interchangeable (unit) The modular (and portable) display systems we offer in detail on this site are generally the choice of small companies looking to spend less than $5,000. These are the portable display systems we refer to as: popup displays, folding frame displays, and fabric-covered panel displays. From the standard modular (interchangeable) components of these systems, a more complicated display can be designed and created -- in a sense customized. These are called Custom Modular Displays. Since a display that is custom designed and fabricated (not necessarily using standard modular components) can cost as much as $1 million and is rarely less than $40,000, Custom Modular Displays -- custom designs built from standard and relatively inexpensive modular components -- occupy a very sensible middle ground. And Custom Modular Displays offer two key advantages: 1. Lower cost for a display that has a unique look and serves unique functions. 2. Modular components can be used again to configure a different display, making it unnecessary to pay for all new fabrication when you redesign your display.
